This southern USA trip should complete our goal of visiting all 50 states! There may be a couple of states that we have only driven through and since there is so much to see in the US - I'm sure we will be on the road again some day. This trip will take us through 9 states - NY, OH, WV, TN, AL, MS, AR, LA, and KY! We will see 5 more National Parks - New River Gorge, Smoky Mountains, Mammoth Cave, Hot Springs, and Cuyahoga. We will also see military parks, civil rights sites, a coal mine, a cotton plantation, a bayou swamp boat tour, Titanic Museum, French Quarter, WWII Museum, USS Alabama, Biloxi Beach, Beale Street, birthplace of Elvis, Abraham Lincoln, grave of Davy Crockett, a show at the Opry, a Shaker Village, a horse farm, and drive a portion of the Natchez Trace. It is an aggressive schedule of 25 tiring, frustrating, exciting, exhilarating, scenic, and awesome days!
